This cultivar was developed in 1967, by mixing of Vilamet and Catbert. Fruits are middle sized, middle red, firm, with a good taste. It ripes mid-summer, fruits are easily separated and it is very suitable for machine-picking, so it’s mostly grown in USA where it takes more than 60% of total raspberry production. It is sensitive to some viruses which are polen transmited, and is middle resistant to root decay.
