New Jersey is american selection, which in our country ripes in the second decade of June and at the beginning of July. It has a good fertility and fruits of good quality, fruits themselves fall a lot before ripening.

The fruit is large, round, scarfskin is yellow, flesh is middle firm, golden yellow, sweet and tart, and is easily separated from the stone. This cultivar is, beside its deficiencies, very popular between manufacturers which plant it because its fruits can reach high price on the market.
