D’Agen
The D’Agen Sugar Plum is a petite, high variety named for a town in the south west of France, a region known for its high quality fruit. When ripe, D’Agen plums are deep purple on the outside and rich amber yellow on the inside; the fruit has a meaty texture and distinctly sweet flavor.
The D’Angen is prized for its culinary range as it can be used as a key ingredient in both sweet and savory dishes. This fleeting delicacy is available for only a short time during the month of March.
